The Complete Guide to Telehealth Psychiatry in Massachusetts and New Hampshire
How online psychiatric care works: conditions treated, prescriptions, first appointments, insurance, and licensed states.
Telehealth psychiatry is complete psychiatric care — evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, ongoing follow-up — over secure video. It is not a lesser version of the office visit. At Bedre Health it is a primary model, not an afterthought.
Who it serves well
- People in parts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire with psychiatrist shortages
- Demanding schedules — a 30-minute follow-up that fits a lunch break
- Anxiety that makes waiting rooms harder than home
- Ongoing medication management once care is established
- Parents, caregivers, and anyone without reliable transportation
What we treat via video
Depression (including postpartum), anxiety and panic, ADHD including stimulant prescribing after an appropriate evaluation, PTSD, bipolar spectrum, OCD, PMDD, and clinical burnout. See our services and condition pages for detail.
The sequence
Text (781) 488-6163 or email. We check insurance and match you with a provider. Digital intake (~20 minutes) in the patient portal. 60-minute evaluation. Treatment plan and pharmacy send if medication is appropriate. Follow-up in 2–4 weeks after a medication start, then monthly to quarterly.
Insurance and states
We verify copays before the first visit. You must be physically in a licensed state: MA, NH, VT, FL, WA, ND, ID, or CO.
If you are in crisis
We are scheduled care, not a crisis line. Call or text 988, call 911, or go to an emergency department. Established patients with urgent non-emergency concerns can call the office.
Same-week appointments

We’ll match you with the right provider and verify insurance before you commit. No referral needed.
